Levi Wood lead the 1:00 "Winter Bird" walk at the UW Arboretum today. There were 43 people participating. I think everyone is ready for spring. The weather was mild but there was a stiff wind from the south. We only saw 8 species of birds but the FOY bird for most of us was a Turkey Vulture that soared in the wind over Gallistel Woods. I wonder what other birds came in with these southerly winds. Good birding to all, Chuck Henrikson Madison, Dane County #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
