Just passed the window and spotted the FOY Oriole at the hummer feeder.
First year male. He skipped the orange hanging directly above the feeder.
At Bender Park in Oak Creek this a.m., I whiffed on the Mockingbird, but
was greeted by a yellow and palm warbler in adjacent trees. Many Drink
your Teas in the old orchard. It's been rather slow along the lakefront,
but I am glad to hear Daryl got Blackburnians and Vireos.
I'm going to check the Grant Beach in case one of those little darlin
plovers has made its way here before the storms.
Finally, Mike Wanger, where's that photo of my namesake Towhee you
promised?!
