With the generous help from a couple of out of town folk, the Snowy was relocated this afternoon around the NE area of the CGI atop a hummock. The sun was setting on the bird, affording beautiful detailed looks at its ear tufts and face. A scope was quite helpful. Also, the Long tailed duck at Lakeshore was incredibly cooperative, hanging close to the larger pier in the lagoon. No luck finding the Pintail reported from yesterday. O, and the solitary Eurasian collared dove returned to the yard for the GBBC and did so today. Betsy Abert, So.
