FYI there is a LESSER YELLOW LEGS in a flooded field just past the County P Hwy
12 stop light - Springfield Corners. Next right is to a farm and a quarry. Turn
in there.

Just had a call from Jim Schwarz (the original discoverer), who said the Say's
Phoebe was still at Goose Lake Park on the southwest side of Madison this
afternoon, working the same weedy patch south of the main lake where he first
spotted it over a week ago.Â
It'll be very interesting to see just how long this bird sticks around. After
a few more days of cold temps and mixed precip, next week's forecast is looking
much more pleasant.
