Several miles east of Columbus on the south side of Hwy 16-60 is a field with shallow standing water, mud, old corn stalks and some weeds and grass. There was a fair number of shorebirds, mostly killdeer, pectoral and least sandpipers, yellowlegs and 2 American golden plovers.
