An adult ROSS'S GOOSE was in the company of Canada Geese along Hwy 13 just north of Hwy 2 west of Ashland this Tuesday evening. It was first seen by local observers yesterday, 9/12, but identity not confirmed until today. This is the second earliest Ross's Goose in the state records, following only the Milwaukee bird from Sept 8 last year.
