Just a reminder of tomorrow's Rainforest Biodiversity Group's Bird-a-Thon. See below for details... On Saturday, May 15th the Rainforest Biodiversity Group (a Madison based non-profit working to protect wintering habitat in the tropics for Wisconsin's breeding birds), will be having their annual Bird-a-Thon. Participating birders will receive a free Bird-a-Thon t-shirt and have a chance to win a $275 Eagle Optics gift certificate and Insight monocular. How does it work? Birders volunteer on May 15th to identify (see or hear) as many species of birds during that day as possible. Each birder secures pledges for their individual birding effort (Click here to download the Birder Sponsor sheet<http://www.greatgreenmacaw.org/news/4th%20Annual%20BirdaThon%20Sponsor%20Sheet.pdf>). Donors can either pledge a certain amount per bird species identified, or they can simply make a flat donation to support their birder. The event is not location specific, so you can participate in any county or state. For details on the Eagle Optics gift certificate and to find out more information on this year's event visit the Bird-a-Thon webpage<http://www.greatgreenmacaw.org/news/4thAnnualBirdaThon.htm> . Thanks and good birding to all! Daniel Schneider Madison, Dane #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
