Greetings all,
I was down at the lakefront this afternoon and I couldn't locate the Barrow's
Goldeneye. Barry Baumann said it wasn't seen since about 11:00 a.m. I will post
if I find it again. Barry, Steve Kohls, and I observed 3 Long-tailed ducks
cavorting in the surf. At least 2 of them were males in winter plumage and the
3d appeared to be a female. I biked down to the end of Pennsylvania Avenue near
the Yacht club and found Eurasian Collared Doves as reported by Nancy Back.
They were on the power pole next to the entrance to the Yacht club parking lot.
