My husband and I went to Nine Springs late yesterday. There were about 30
Shovellers, 18 Sandhill cranes, a pair of Canvasbacks, Canada geese - 3 pairs
had fuzzy yellow goslings, red-winged blackbirds, swallows, 3 small sandpipers,
a turkey, mallards, robins, and an osprey suddenly appeared at one point,
landed in the water and then flew off again. There was also a large snapping
turtle.
