The Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel is reporting that one of the most productive
females has been shot in Indiana.

To say the least, this is another sad and frustrating episode in the
recovery program - and particularly so in light of the valiant and
sacrificial efforts of the Operation Migration team to help establish a
second migratory flock of this endangered species.
