Earlier today I was trying to get a visual ID on a singing Savannah Sparrow when I was VERY surprised to get a brief glimpse of what appeared to be an adult Harris's Sparrow in breeding plumage. I'm pretty sure it couldn't have been anything else. The bird was in the brush/scrub along the lakeshore to the east of the rugby field that is north of Milwaukee's North Point. Only saw it once, for maybe five seconds. Oh, yeah, I did finally get a visual ID on the Savannah as it sang. :-) Bernie Sloan Milwaukee #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
