Hi FOlks, A brief walk through the neighborhood this morning yielded a handful of April forest migrants including singing yellow-rumps, ruby-crowned kinglets, white-throated sparrows, and hermit thrush. The latter was a new yard bird for me (#175) and my last expected thrush! I'm still missing Green-winged Teal, despite there being lots just down the road at Lower Mud Lake this year and I'd be happy if a Lesser Yellowlegs or a Kestrel flew by.
