A check of the lakes in these two cities yielded limited results today. There
were hundreds of gulls on Little Lake Butte des Morts and Winnebago---all
Ring-billeds and Herrings. Very few ducks were seen until Jefferson Park in
Menasha. Here 10 diving duck species were present, plus a Trumpeter Swan, 2
Pied-billed Grebes and 12 White Pelicans. Heckrodt Preserve was quiet,
expected due to our winter like weather. However a pair of Tufted Titmice were
coming to the feeders.
