I saw Common mergansers, Hooded mergansers, Grebes, Mallards, Canada geese, and
heard a Wood duck recently through Long Lake on the Wis. River. The best time
to see the ducks and geese is morning and evening. Though some hang around and
dive in the daytime as well. Good birding!
