Thanks for reporting this Mark. It was a life bird for me! I got there shortly
after Tom's first report and ran into Jim Edelhuber. We both got great looks.
The bird is quite skiddish, so if it's still there, it will probably be on the
east berm of the water treatment plant. We left about the time some dog walkers
came through. I did just hear from Jennifer Ambrose who went to see if was
there just now (11:30ish). She didn't see it, but she did see a merlin. Her
first of year. She says she hopes it didn't eat the sandpiper!

hedge due east of Lake Park in Milwaukee.
