the lakefront. Nothing phenominal, but two Dunlin were present as well as Killdeer and Spotted Sandpiper. Interestingly, nearly all the swallow species flew by me on just a 200 yard stretch of beach. I had Purple Martin, Bank, N. Rough-wing, Barn, and Tree. Only missed Cliff. Caspian Terns were mingled in the flocks of Ring-billed and Herring Gulls, and I was suprised to see a Flicker on the sand! On a different note, I have yet to see an Upland Sandpiper, and I wondered if anyone on the list knows a good spot for this species near Madison. Thanks for your help.
