Bird City Wisconsin, Fond du Lac, will be observing International Migratory
Bird Day with several activities in early May.
The first is a presentation to be given by Alan Haney, author of Jewels Of
Nature: Delightful Birds I Have Known, at the Fond du Lac Public Library on
Tuesday, May 3, at 6:30 PM.
Then we will be out looking for those jewels and more on three bird hikes:
Friday evening, May 6 at 6 PM, at the Camelot Business Park on the south end of
Fond du Lac
Saturday morning, May 7 at 9 AM, Greenway Arboretum, west of Pick & Save on the
south end of Fond du Lac
Saturday afternoon, May 7 at 1 PM, Lakeside Park in the area to the north of
the playground equipment.
These events are free and open to the public. Feel free to email me if you
have any questions about the activities.
Thanks, and have a birdy day!
