This morning there were 8 species of duck on L. Sin. including a pair of FOY black ducks. Also 1 herring gull and several ring-billed gulls and a red-tailed hawk sitting on the ice, haven't seen that before. Fun watching the c. mergansers eating the bullheads and the gulls harassing them. On a side road this morning saw 3 c. redpolls. Late this afternoon a mature bald eagle was flying up the river just south of Husty. Also late this afternoon found a few canvasback on the lake for a day count of 9 species of ducks, and there were no mallards.
