A Hudsonian Godwit was at the Peck Road pond in SW Sauk county at noon today. It was in the far east end of the pond, easiest viewed from the south from Mercer Road. Also present were: 8 Black-bellied Plover 2 Ruddy Turnstone 7 White-rumped Sandpipers 1 Baird's Sandpipers 3 Short-billed Dowitchers And good numbers of the typical shorebirds. The Hwy G/Big Hollow pond had flocks of peeps flying around, and one Peregrine on the mudflat.
