I spent a few hours at Horicon yesterday. The Ibis was on Hwy 49 the entire
time I was there. As I was heading home I made a last stop there and watched
it fly off north. People may want to check the northside closely for it today
if itâsnot near the pump house. Also had 6 black-necked stilts on the
auto-tour. They were feeding in the drained pond/lake just off of the
boardwalk. There was a ton of shorebirds and swallows in that area - both
yellowlegs, pectoral and dunlin. Nothing too unusual out there. had my FOY
gnatcatcher and some nice views of a Bald Eagle hunting west of the pump house.
I took a lot of pictures as I continue with my photography learning process.
Not too many turned out but hereâs a link to a number of the better ones if
you care to take a look... https://flic.kr/p/GpVjqL ;<https://flic.kr/p/GpVjqL>
