While checking bluebird boxes at Yellowstone Lake State Park today, 07 May 2009, my party observed a Henslow Sparrow, Bobolink and Palm Warbler (3). The Henslow was first observed on a stretch of prairie perched on a tall stem as it sang the sneeze like song. The yellowish marks on the head could be seen and the pink legs. From there it proceeded to begin bathing in a puddle twenty feet ahead of my truck and with the binoculars it was easy to see the olive colored head and contrasting brown rusty back. It continued to bath for several minutes before flying off. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the WISBIRDN list.
