Bernie and others,
You can find this information on e-bird at this website
http://ebird.org/ebird/hotspots
Zoom into Milwaukee and you will see that the name of the Lakeshore State Park
hotspot is called Lakeshore SP/Harbor Island.
What's really cool about this too is that they color code each hotspot by the
number of species that have been recorded there - and if you click on a hotspot
it will tell you how many birds and checklists have been submitted.
eBird ceases to amaze me with their user-friendliness and wow factor.

Subject: [wisb] Help with Milwaukee lakefront Ebird hotspot checklists?
I'm trying to reconstruct my list of birds seen while walking the Milwaukee
lakefront in my old neighborhood. For starters, I'm using Ebird hotspot
checklists for the lakefront from the rugby fields at North Point/Lake Park all
the way down to the south(?) end of the Milwaukee Art Museum. But I can't find
an Ebird hotspot checklist for Lakeshore State Park. That seems odd...
Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions!
