The Gyrfalcon was on the Ashland oredock -- east side railing 25 yards from the north end -- at 7:50 am this Monday morning. A pattern has emerged in that the bird is clearly roosting on the oredock on at least some nights, arriving to the dock in late-ish afternoon and then waking up there early the following morning. These aren't the only times to see it but if you're looking, be sure to check during the 3:00-4:00 pm hour and 7:00-8:00 am hour in addition to mid-day.
