I want to thank everyone who helped we rookies at the woodcock walk at Cherokee
Marsh in Madison last night. Several members so the Madison Audubon Society
helped a large number of people navigate the shoreline, the woods and the
marsh. It was the first lovely evening of the spring and Society members said
it was the largest group they even had to handle. The volunteers were very
friendly and helpful and tolerant of so many people. I found it a very
pleasant evening.Â
