[wisb] Fire Lane Road - Vilas County Updates

Hi Folks,
As you may have heard from some folks that recently traveled to the area - the
traditional spot along Fire Lane Road for Spruce Grouse is now largely fenced.
I asked the local forester and it appears that much of the private land here
has been bought by one landowner and he has put in a fence (I don't know why).
This shouldn't prohibit road birding - but I'm not sure how it will impact the
grouse, etc.
This area has always been privately owned but there are lots of public acres
around that area that you can still explore for grouse, etc. Check the Vilas
County maps, etc. for more information.
