Hello all, Please find some quality photos of what I believe to be a Coopers hawk, with a Northern Flicker as its prey. These captures were made in Miwaukee County at a County Park. If your faint of heart, and do not wish to view the brutality of nature, please do not click to view. Some are a bit graphic. I am aware this bird is banded, and will have to look at the dozens upon dozens of photos I have to see if I can get enough of the band markings on the silver band. I have more then half of it already. I am hoping to get some information on where this bird was banded, its age, and where it has been before I saw it today. ( April 29th) May your birding outings be blessed, Bill Joers Colgate, Wisconsin Washington County #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
