I found a female/young male COMMON YELLOWTHROAT on the edge of the 1918 Marsh at Picnic Point in Madison this evening. This is immediately adjacent to the parking area. On the point were a Northern Shrike at the orchard near the Biocore Prairie and a few Golden-crowned Kinglets and Brown Creepers along the main biking path. The young Glaucous Gull is still present in University Bay along with a flock of 28 Ruddy Ducks and some Canvasback and Gadwall. The male Green-winged Teal that Daniel Schneider found on the Madison CBC at the mouth of the creek just east of University Bay is also still present. Enjoy the last day of record highs tomorrow before the snow! Tom Prestby Madison #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
