Did you miss the April 15 registration deadline for the 2016 WSO Convention
-- to be held in Racine May 13-16? SURPRISE: You may attend as a
"walk-in"! It will cost a little more than if you had registered by the
deadline (Walk-in prices are: $50 for adults; $25 for students ages 13-22;
children ages 12 and under are still free!) If you come to the convention
and register and pay at the Check-in table, this is what you receive:
Friday 2 p.m. "eBird made Easy" workshop, Friday 4 p.m. Member Appreciation
Picnic, Friday 7 p.m. presentation of awards followed by a reception,
Saturday morning car caravan field trips, Saturday noon lunch, Saturday
afternoon presentations and workshops, Saturday evening keynote speaker
program, and Sunday & Monday all-day car caravan field trips (bus trip has
additional cost, but room is still available on the bus). You really get a
lot of bang for your buck at a WSO Convention!
