While birding with Peter Fissel at Horicon National Wildlife refuge today,
Peter mentioned that he had seen Cattle Egrets in their usual location near
Van Dyne along Lone Elm Road. By the time I got there, I could find only
one. It was at the back of the pond on the south side of Lone Elm Road just
west of W6464 Lone Elm Road.
