Hi all -
We had a C. goose nest near a pond behind our property with 5 eggs. This
morning both parents were on the pond with 3 goslings, for several hours.
Later I noticed the goose back on the nest sitting on the other two eggs.
This seemed odd to me. Do the hatchings vary that much that some of the eggs
are that far behind the ones that hatched first? Later she left and has not
returned.
