A sizable algae mat persists at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee. In a brief moment there over lunch I found two Least Sandpipers, two Ruddy Turnstones, and about 25 Sanderlings along with the gulls. Not a great variety now, but the location still has good potential, so it warrants frequent monitoring. -- Cheers!
