For those interested, we will be starting our own Birds and Beers tradition
in the Milwaukee area this weekend. The Twin Cities has been doing it for
a couple years, and Madison has two events under their belt this winter.
It's only fitting the Brew City join in the tradition!
Saturday night we are meeting about 7 pm at Weissgerber's Gasthaus in
Waukesha. So far we have a handful of birders coming for sure, but as
always the more the merrier! In order to have space set aside for us, I
will be calling ahead to make a reservation. If you plan on attending,
please contact me so I know how much space to reserve.
We don't have an agenda or time limit; we're just getting together for a
few drinks and perhaps some food, and enjoying conversation with fellow
birders. I'm certainly hoping to put some faces to names I only know
through the listserv or other online birding forums. This will also be a
great way to meet others who want to do birding outings in the future.
The address for the Gasthaus is 2720 N. Grandview Blvd. Waukesha, WI
53188. This is just south of I-94 on Hwy T, Exit 293.
