Hey all, I did some birding on campus between storms (and with the wind finally gone) and it was quite productive. I had my FOY Yellow Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Gray Catbird, and Warbling Vireo all in the same spot by the stream! Not to mention hearing the songs of American Toads, Gray Treefrogs, and Norther Leopard Frogs before another storm coming in. Other birds included many Brown Thrashers singing, a couple of Field Sparrows, many White-throated Sparrows, and a very startled Pileated Woodpecker that was five feet away from me. This might not eem like much, but the UW-P campus has been pretty dead so I was excited to see these migrants finally!
