One of my previous field ornithology students, Amber Mealman, contacted me recently about two AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS that she had photographed two days ago in Lakeside Park; which is located on Fond Du Lac. Within her photographs were several DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS, and I was able to pick out a single AMERICAN BLACK DUCK mixed with the Mallards as well.
