Dear list,

I have a very strange problem. I have two NIC's in a windows 2003
server.

One has ip address is 10.0.10.100/255.255.0.0

The other ip address is 10.0.152.16/255.255.255.0

Next, I need to add the following static route:

10.31.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 gw 10.0.152.9

Well, if do a ipconfig /all, I see a list of routes...

And the route 10.31.0.0 is bound to interface 10.0.10.100

What I tried was to disable the 10.0.10.100 interface, remove the static
route and add it again...

Then enable the 10.0.10.100 interface again....and this works...

Unfortunately, when I reboot the server, the static route is again bound
to the wrong interface.

To make things worse, there is another server that is identical, but of
course with different ip addresses, that does not have this problem...

Does anyone have a clue why this server is binding the static route to
the wrong interface??
