I don't know about HP, but they are working fine on all of my IBM = servers. I have 3 5500, a 7000, 3 Xseries 330, and a 3000. All are = running Windows 2000 SP2 with Dual Nics running FEC through a Cisco = switch. -----Original Message----- From: Condon, Mike [mailto:M1C@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 8:51 AM To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [windows2000] Re: rackmount servers Is there a problem with dual nic's & Windows 2000? The have a nice cabling scheme where you can daisy chain = =3D them together for keyboard, mouse, and video. Kind of like having a =3D built in KVM switch. They also have dual nics capable of being teamed = =3D together for added throughput. You have to have a Cisco switch capable = =3D of FEC to get the best performance though.
