Forgot to mention the path to the defaultdomain key in the registry. You
should find it here:

HKLM\software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\DefaultDomainN
ame

This value typically gets set automatically after a successful login to
a domain. But you can force it with a reg change on boot up, as I
mentioed to ensure that the domain you want is always defaulted in the
available list.
