Indeed I've had trouble with the IBM utility.  Sometimes even the Cisco
gives me grief. Best to use Windows But if you have Cisco cards you'll
need the ACU for updating the firmware and it provides great
diagnostics. Joanne

I bet that the wireless config utility that makes the connection is
running under the user account.

If it is an XP Pro machine, I would suggest using XP's built in wireless
config utility, instead of a vendor supplied one.

Otherwise, give the vendor a call and see if they have a service based
utility, or instructions for how to run the existing utility as a
service...
