Thanks Ray. I have a client that I recently upgraded from Windows 95 to a 2000 server with Windows 98. They have an old Cross36 IBM that has been emulated to run completely on Windows, but it is a little on the flakey side. I got the emulator to run on Windows 2000 and they access it via 98, it works okay. Now they want to upgrade their desktops to XP Pro. From a stability stand point I like it but I was a little worried about this emulator. We will see. No problems for me. Even Longhorn's fine in a 2000 domain. > Also how do old school dos apps run on XP? Well, that would depend on the application, of course... There's always the compatibility mode to try if something doesn't seem to work.
