That's a loaded question :) It depends on the ram, cpu, and (in my experience) network of the server. It also matters what apps are running, how many people are running what etc. For comparison, I am running dual P3 1ghz servers with 1.5gb of RAM and dual teamed 100 nics. every user connects with a thin client and gets a full desktop. We run office 2000, Great Plains, and some custom apps for the nursing home industry. I can get about 45 users on each server comfortably. I can get 80 or so on there in a pinch but things start to drag. What is the number of users that terminal services can handle, on a Windows 2000 Server? (I need to know, for these IP address changes.)
