All functions of a win2k server continue to work while it's being upgraded
with service packs. Any shares hosted on this NAS device will still be
accessible to end users until you're able to reboot the box.

I have to apply SP4 to a critical NAS unit shortly. Am I correct in thinking
that network connections, shares etc will continue to be available until the
server is restarted, or are they disconnected at the start of the update
process? The extra few minutes could be critical.
