You would have to do it as admin or turn off user access control.

Anyone know how to remove activeX objects from IE under vista ?

Under XP I could do this via Internet options, general tab - Settings,
view objects and then right click on the object and "remove"

Vista doesn't seem to want to play !. Can't even get rid of the objects
via CMD and deleting the contents of c:\windows\downlo~1 - access denied.

Attrib shows the files as just having "A" set.
