You need to make him a member of the LOCAL admins on the machine. Power user
should be enough though. Login locally to the machine and right click on My
Computer and choose manage. Add his domain account to the local admins of the
machine.

    Good Morning,

I have a user who needs to install software on his machine. I have
temporarily made him a member of the administrators group. When he logs on to
the domain and attempts the install, he is still prompted for an admin account.
 Just wondering what gives?

    TIA

    Ron
