No experience with that filter, but we had a relatively large spike in spam over the last few days. >>> EMartin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 12/06/04 10:34AM >>> I saw a spike of spam getting through our filters this weekend. We are using Mail Marshall... Anyone have experience with this filter? -Eddie @ Bridgecom -----Original Message----- From: Greg Reese [mailto:gareese@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, December 04, 2004 2:15 PM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Spam Getting worse? Is it just me or does it seem like there is more spam out there than there was a few months ago? We have spam filters installed on our exchange server and on average it would catch roughly a thousand e-mails over a weekend. Between last night and this afternoon there were over 2500 messages. Only have about 200 users and many of them don't even use Internet email. It seems most spam is addressed to users that don't exist in our organization. What are the rest of you seeing with the amount of spam hitting your mail servers? I think between span and virus related e-mail we probably block more e-mail than legitimate mail we actually want.
