Which version are you using? Deep Freeze Standard, Professional, or
Enterprise?

I second the Deep Freeze option. I bought it for 32 computers we
installed over two years ago and have never looked back. Before that I
tried "magic card" and various hardware which worked well but had
problems which deep freeze doesn't have. The one problem I had (still
have to a small extent) with Deep Freeze and XP is multiple user use.
XP, as opposed to 98 needs and sets up individual users each time a
pupil logs in. It took some manipulating to enable any pupil to log in
and get the same desktop and configuration. It is worth the effort to
get the computer set up correctly once and then save hours and hours of
work because that's what Deep freeze does. A point I have to make is
that I use a network and all the pupils files etc. are saved on a
server. NOTHING is saved to a local hard drive. I can't remember the
exact price but it was about $20 or $30 per computer and the amount of
work hours saved is much more than that.
In the summer vacation I will be going over to a terminal server so I am

sure I will continue using deep freeze for a long time.
By the way I (unfortunately :)) am not connected to Deep Freeze at all
and am praising it purely as a user who worked with many products before

finding this one.
