[windows2000] SV: Safe mode restart

From the Windows Start menu, click Run.
In the Open field, type BOOT.INI and click Ok.
At the end of the last line, add a space and type /SAFEBOOT:MINIMAL.
Save the file, close Notepad and restart.

Is there a way to, from a normally booted windows, to force it to
restart in safe mode w/o pressing the F8-key at boot?
