The easiest way is to have one ftp server.

All users must have read permissions to the root level.

Add a folder with the same name as the user account in the root, and
modify the security settings on this folder so only the none user can
access it.

Then this user will logon to this folder.

Do the same for the other folder.

Thanks for the help.....i just learned that I can have two ftp sites
which should take care of the problem I was having.....

You will be able to do that just throughpermissions to the 2 virtual
directories and applying the permissions to them through AD. HTH

Hello,

I am trying to set up an FTP site in Windows 2000 Server. This site will
be
accessed by two different users and they will each be accessing a
separate
folder. How can I set this up so that each will have their own unique
logon
and each will not be able to access the other folder? Do I need a 3rd
party
tool to do this or can it be done using the windows FTP?
