Hi everyone

I tried this experiment, and this is exactly what I saw. I was hoping this
was not the norm, but it is.

Thanks again for everyone's help and advice

The file does not go anywhere.... It is simply delete... You will need to
restore the file off of a backup.

Subject: [windows2000] Recover deleted files from share drive on W2K
server

Hi All

I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to:

If I have a file up on a share drive (Windows 2000 server) and I delete the
file, where does it go? I checked the recycle bin on the server, and it's
not there, and I checked the recycle bin on the local workstation, and the
file does not appear there either. Can someone point me in the right
direction?

Thank you in advance for your advice

Russell
