1 per client PC or 1 per user depending on which way you go.

Thanks for the info.

And what about the number of CALS that I might need?

OR nor AND. You get to choose when you set up the TS license server to go
per user or per device.

Subject: [windows2000] Question on CALs

We are a small office (<50 users). If I were to purchase a new server with
Win2k3 R2 what is my CAL requirement?

From my reading I have seen that both every device and user that connects
requires a CAL. Does this mean that I need to purchase a CAL for every user
AND device that connects to the server?

Pardon my ignorance on the subject.

TIA

Ron
