I use Sygate for just a firewall. Trend Micro's home AV product includes a
firewall these days too. Seems decent but not as good as Sygate. Plus, Sygate
is free. I had trouble with Zone Alarm on all the pc's I tried it on.

A cheap Dlink/Linksys/Netgear hardware firewall is the best choice in my
opinion. They are not very expensive.

Can I get recommendations for a good home PC, software based firewall? I know
of zone alarm but wanted some input and other suggestions.
